Overview
Our Coaches-in-Training (CIT) program is for HS players who are interested in helping coach the middle school team during the season. The program is designed to support player development at the MS level while providing HS players with leadership and mentoring experience. Only selected CITs may assist with MS practices, drills, and games. HS players must apply for the CIT program by Feb. 15, see below for details.
High school players helping coach the middle school team has been a tradition every season since the middle school team's inception in 2018. It's invaluable to everyone. And, a reflection on how committed our players are to the sport they love!

Requirements
Candidates must be an active member of the HS program.
Candidates must be able to commit to a consistent schedule for the season.
Reasonable absences are acceptable, but must be communicated in advance.
All availability and absences must be updated appropriately in TeamSnap.
Responsibilities
Assist the adult coaches with the MS team’s training and drills.
Work with small groups of players who need additional attention/support.
Provide individualized attention to players as needed.
Build positive relationships with MS players and help motivate them to continue playing through high school.
Exemplify Spirit of the Game at all times through conduct, communication, and sportsmanship both on and off the field.
