Ben began playing Ultimate seriously in ninth grade at Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey. He also played for and captained the inagural New Jersey YCC club team.
Ben has coached high school and college Ultimate in Binghamton, New York, and has contributed to conditioning programs with Maplewood Ultimate and Westfield Ultimate. He has also coached the Columbia High School B team.
Beyond USA, Ben has coached with Ultimate Peace, a program that brings young people from different religious and cultural backgrounds in the Middle East together through Ultimate. He also volunteers for Ultimate For All, which teaches disc sports to refugee youth.
Outside of Ultimate, Ben works as a social worker in New York City and part-time as a personal trainer at the YMCA in Montclair.
Adam Becker is a lifelong athlete with experience in a wide variety of sports, including soccer, wrestling, gymnastics, and, more recently, pickleball. He played competitive Ultimate for four years at Rowan University and currently works as a physical education teacher in Bergen County.

Eurica Yu started playing ultimate back home in Malaysia for a mixed club team in 2013. Since then, she has went on to play competitively in international tournament such as the Malaysia Ultimate Open in 2014 and 2015. She also qualified for the Women’s Malaysian National Team in 2015 and also played for Temple University’s Women Ultimate Team from 2015-2017. In 2025, Eurica played for a North Jersey mixed club team, Axolotls.
Eurica is a Malaysian born & raised, NYC-based cinematographer working in the commercial, music video and narrative industry. In her spare time, she loves traveling and exploring different cuisines.
Kevin Avilan is a 33-year-old Venezuelan Ultimate Frisbee player who has been playing the sport since 2010. Throughout his career, he played for several teams before joining Elite Warao, one of Venezuela's leading Ultimate clubs. His first international tournament was the 2013 Pan American Championship in Brazil.
Currently residing in the United States, Kevin is excited to begin his first coaching experience with Montclair's Ultimate program. He is passionate about sharing his love for the sport and helping young athletes develop confidence, teamwork, and respect both on and off the field.
Outside of Ultimate, Kevin is a devoted husband and proud father to a 6-year-old son. While his primary focus is coaching and supporting the next generation of players, he hasn't given up on his dream of one day competing at the highest level, including the opportunity to play in the UFA or Masters competitions.
